About

The Full Story

Better Health Nursing was founded in 2025 from my lived experience as a nurse who survived cancer and continues to manage life with dysautonomia and complex illnesses. My story is deeply personal, rooted in a profound disillusionment with a healthcare system that often overlooks the human behind the diagnosis.

I witnessed firsthand how the current system too often fails to give patients the tools, knowledge, and time they need to navigate complex health journeys. As a nurse, I knew that true nursing was never meant to be rushed or transactional; it was meant to be holistic, compassionate, and deeply educational. As a patient, I experienced how isolating and frustrating it can be when the care system treats symptoms but not the person.

That’s why I created Better Health Nursing: to restore the heart of nursing and to put power back into patients' hands.

I specialize in providing personalized, online nursing care, with a special focus on individuals living with POTS and other forms of dysautonomia. I also support individuals managing a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions, offering nurse-led guidance for those navigating complex care, recovery, or long-term illness.

My services include in-depth nursing assessments and tailored care plans, follow-up support and adjustment of interventions, guidance on preparing for specialist appointments, text or call support during flare-ups, and compassionate education that empowers patients to understand and improve their health while navigating the healthcare system.

I'm also here for caregivers, offering them the clarity, tools, and emotional support they need to better care for their loved ones without burning out.

What makes Better Health Nursing different is simple. We are the only online nursing concierge service reclaiming what nursing is truly meant to be: goal-centered, individualized, and holistic.

Our mission is to walk alongside each client as a partner in health, giving them the knowledge and confidence to manage their conditions and reclaim their best life. As we grow, we plan to bring on more nurses with experience in chronic illnesses, broadening our reach and deepening our impact.

At Better Health Nursing, we believe that patients deserve more than brief visits and fragmented care. You deserve a nurse in your corner: one who listens, understands, and helps you thrive. Because the goal is not just surviving, it's thriving.

Taylor Cooper, BSN, RN

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2023, graduating Magna Cum Laude and receiving the Academic Excellence in Nursing Award as the top graduate in my class. My clinical experience includes work in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) as a nurse extern and in Bone Marrow Transplant and Oncology as a registered nurse, caring for individuals with complex, high-acuity needs. I have a special interest in Roy’s Adaptation Model of Nursing, the Modeling and Role-Modeling Theory, and the Holistic Model of Nursing, which together emphasize individualized care, adaptive capacity, and honoring each person’s lived experience.

Outside of nursing, I enjoy spending time with my active daughter and family, exploring new cuisines, listening to music, writing, and reading. My experience as a former Make-a-Wish recipient inspired me to remain deeply involved with the foundation for over 15 years as a supporter and fundraiser. This journey continues to shape my perspective on compassion, hope, and the lasting impact of meaningful care.

"For most patients I think it is important for them to switch the emphasis from physician management to patient management... if you give the patient the tools so that they understand their condition, and... certain tools that will improve aspects of their being, they can do a lot better."
